Dear friends,
In order to do our part to help curb the spread of the novel corona virus, the leadership of our congregation is continuing to demonstrate sacrificial love for others (John 13:34) and respect for those who govern (Romans 13:1) in the following ways:
1) We are meeting in person for worship at 9am on Sundays, but also live-streaming the services on Facebook and posting them later on YouTube. No reservation is necessary to attend in person since the size of our facility allows us to physically distance.
2) Our staff is working in the office 8-1 Monday-Thursday,
3) Little Pilgrims Preschool has been meeting in person this fall with smaller classes, indoor masking, strict sanitation and physical distancing to ensure the safety of our students and their teachers.
4) Our Elders and other leaders are making phone calls to check on and stay connected with all our members and friends during these weeks of social isolation. If you need our help, please don’t hesitate to call our office number, 325-5738 between 8 am – 1 pm Monday – Friday. Please remember, also, to make a point of staying in touch with one another, so that no one has to go through this alone and we can emerge from it as a stronger and more united community in Christ.
The COVID 19 situation is obviously changing on a daily basis. However, we remember that “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1) We are spiritually connected in Christ even if we are physically separated by the current crisis. We will survive this and thrive again as generations of believers have done before us.
The Lord grant you peace and patience!
